Abstract
The study assumes that the effect of poverty is largely caused by domestic work, parents’ attitudes towards education, parents’ level of education, academic performance, economic status of parents and sexual harassment All these affect the quality of Education hence wastage of the available resources This will educate community members especially family heads about the mistakes different family members commit, teacher’s and government on the challenges they face in implementing the UPE policy. The study formed a basis on which future researchers might use to generate other studies. The study beneficial to the government in appreciating its role in assisting UPE schools and offers more aid or facilities where necessary. This study is to help to reduce the occurrence of the subsequent effects various families face as a lot of the challenges ‘his study can act as a source of reference for future research into related studies to this one. This study partially fulfills the requirements for award of the degree of Bachelor of Arts With education of Kampala International University to the researcher.
