Abstract
The purpose of the study was to assess the impact of microfinance activities on the income status of the people of the Central Equatorial state, in South Sudan, with special consideration of Juba County. The study was guided by the following objectives; to determine the impact of group lending on people’s income status in Juba County, South Sudan, to determine the impact of individual lending on people’s income status in Juba County, South Sudan, to examine the relationship between micro loans and people’s incomes income status in Juba County, South Sudan.
