Abstract
The study was purposely o to examine the effect of training on the performance of primary school teachers in Lira municipality, and the objectives that guided it included finding out how case study method affects performance of primary school teachers in Lira municipality schools, establishing how refresher courses (retraining) affect the performance of primary school teachers in Lira municipality and examining the influence of in-service program on the performance of primary school teachers of Lira municipality.
