Abstract
The aim of the research work is to assess “the effect of business strategies on the foreign investments in Uganda specifically the private sector foundation” this is because, business strategies are important tools used to expand the level of investments in an economy. The statement of the problem of this research banks about the ineffective strategies. The objective of this research study is to highlight the effects of business strategies on the foreign investment of the private sector foundation as well as to highlight the advantages of effective and efficient management of business strategies amongst others. Furthermore, this research work will be of immense significance to the staff of private sector foundation as well as the students and the researcher. also, research questions like, could a company run without business strategies? On the average, how long do you do you use a given strategy? Etc. research instrument used were questionnaires for the purpose of obtaining the desired result in treating and extensive use of tabular information and percentages were of great importance in the light of the findings and conclusions of this work, the following recommendations are put up: that then should be a regular review of business strategy policies to suit the changes in the business environment and that an enquiry unit should be established to take responsibility for prospective strategy assessments amongst others.
