Abstract
The purpose of the study was to test the hypothesis of no significant relationships between population growth and unemployment in Tanzania from 2002 to 2012. To generate new information based on the finding of the study. Further the study was to bridge the gaps identified from the related literature and related studies. 1.4 Research Objectives 1.4.1 General Objective To investigate the relationship between population growth and unemployment in Tanzania from 2002 to 2012. 1.4.2 Specific Objectives i) To determine the demographic characteristics of the respondents in terms of age, gender, employment and education levels. ii) To determine the level of population growth in Tanzania. iii) To determine the level of unemployment in Tanzania iv) To determine the correlation between population growth and unemployment.
