Abstract
The study discussed the effects of human resource development on organization
performance with a case stu_dy of Uganda Grain Milling Company Limited. The
research major objectives were to establish the nature of workers employed by
Uganda Milling Company Limited, the form of human resource development
strategies and the problems that these workers face.
The study was based on qualitative and· quantitative methods of research. The
major findings showed that there is a direct relationship between human
resource in the objectives and literature reviewed.
The study also presented a number of recommendations with the most notable
being that companies and _organizations should encourage human resource
development as a tool of enforcing organizational performance.
