Abstract: A report study was on team work and performance of small scale manufacturing firms in Uganda. The study was guided by the following objectives; To identify the characteristics of effective teamwork To assess the effect of teamwork on employee motivation To establish the relationship between teamwork and customer care. Basing on the above objectives, the research questions were formulated. The study focused on relationship between teamwork and performance of small scale manufacturing firms in Uganda. The report presents the description of the research designs m methodology used to collecting, processing and analyzing of data and limitations of the study. A summary of the key issues from the empirical and theoretical literature from which comparisons are made in a more systematic way to draw inferences. Conclusions and recommendations on the study of team work and performance of small scale manufacturing firms in Uganda are made basing on the research questions.
