Abstract
The study sought to examine the relationship between decentralization and education service delivery in Apac Town Council, with the view of generating sustainable ways to improve decentralization programmes to enhance education service delivery in the district. The general objective of the study was to find out the extent to which decentralization has influenced education service delivery in Town Council. A co-relational research design was employed. A sample of 136 respondents participated in the study by answering the questionnaires and interview guide. Frequencies and percentages were used to show the distribution of respondents on different subjects. Key informants were reached using interview method, documentation and questionnaires were applied to gather information from student’s teacher’s management committee. The study findings showed that decentralized activities and decentralization programmes directly affect the education service delivery in Apac Town Council. The researcher concluded that there is a significant positive•relationship between decentralization and education service delivery (say more, why that conclusion?. The researcher therefore, recommended that Education service providers and managers should design proper ways of implementing the decentralization policy in order to promote education service delivery in Apac town council district.
