Abstract
The background is pointing out the international, National and the local level wrenches use of L&GG. Secondly it mentions the leadership and good governance variables the dependent and the independent variables of the research study. The Research Objective of this study was to establish the relationship between the leadership and the good governance in Garowe Puntland Somalia. The method used: The Researcher used descriptive quantities correlation Research study as research design. In gathering the information, the research study employed both primary and secondary sources, questionnaire and interviews by meeting the most political prominent leaders in Puntland Somalia. And the respondents deeply discussed with the national plans of the leadership towards good governance. According to Pearson’s coefficient, the relationship between leadership styles and good governance is strongly accepted at a value of 0.236. Computed R-value is generated from mean scores of leaderships and good govemance in Garowe Puntland Somalia. Critical value was generated from the Net of statistics/R-values. It was revealed that the Leadership focuses on the areas of good governance, anti-corruption economic growth somehow, gaps exist in areas of safe water drinking, and livelihoods improvement. Finally, the researcher found out that there is a need to promote good governance and concluded that there is no relationship between the leadership and good governance in Garowe Puntland Somalia. The Researcher therefore, concludes that L&GG should fill the existing gaps especially areas of accountability, transparency, participation, responsiveness, effectiveness and efficiency and social justice to realize the following of the rule of law.
