Abstract
Information Communication Technology is drastically changing the businesses
conduct their day- to- day activities. In Uganda, banks and in particular Stanbic
Bank has installed different types of information technology which have enabled
their stake holders do their respective activities and responsibilities especially
employees effectively and efficiency and at the same time , involve customers in
the service delivery process.
Stanbic Bank has responded to the new Information technology changes by
creating room for the installation of this technology, which has given the banking
businesses a different trend altogether.
Hence the purpose of the study about the performance of information Technology
of Stanbic bank where limited was used as a case study based on the following
objectives; which include the establishmeiif ofllie relationsliij:i between the level
of performance and modem technology installation, examine the demerits and
merits implications of modem technology, examine the level of dependency of the
current performance and the rate of technological installation and to establish
factors that have significant impact on the performance of banks and other
technology.
