The study as guided by three objectives namely to establish (i) initial plans envisaged by RFG (ii) the role of government (iii) the current contribution of RFG in the development of Secondary Schools in Kayunga District. The study took a descriptive cross-sectional research survey design where both quantitative and qualitative approaches were employed involving a sample size of 60 respondents selected using stratified 1nethod of answering the designed questionnaires and interview guides for parents and Board of Directors. Tables of frequencies, means and standard deviations and descriptive analysis were used to represent data and Pearson linear correlation co-efficient (r) was used to test the level of correlation between the variables. The finding of the study showed positive relationship between the initial plan of RFGs role of government and current contribution of RFGs in developing of Secondary Schools in Kayunga District. The researcher concluded that, when the initial plans of RFGs role of government and the current contribution of RFGs are enhanced the development will be also achieved. The researcher recommended that the District Education Officer should monitor and follow up the initial plans, government should fully participate in all school programmes and supervise the current contribution of RFGs in the development of Secondary Schools in Kayunga District, Uganda.en_US
