dc.description.abstract | The research was conducted for the purpose of or to identify the effect of teamwork on organizational performance in shoprite Kampala Uganda. The research study was carried out on teamwork and organizational performance in Shoprite Kampala Uganda the objectives were: (i) To find out how the organizations cope up with the challenges as they apply teamwork; (ii) To fine out how teamwork is applied; (iii) To find out the challenges organizations face while applying teamwork as a means for organization performance; There were various methods used of the data collection which include: Research design, Study population, sampling design, sampling size, research procedures, tools of data collection, questionnaire, documentation review, data analysis, findings and conclusion. The research involved a sample of 150 respondents who where selected using random and purposive sampling where by the researcher distributed questionnaires prepared with closed ended questions that where administered by the researcher with the help of research assistants therefore recommendations have been put forward for different stakeholders and suggested possible solutions to the effective teams in order to equip them with superior skills, knowledge and competencies to enhance teamwork high quality performance. Therefore all stakeholders of Shoprite and other similar organizations, leaders are reminded to commit themselves and exert much efforts to invest in teamwork by supporting their activities as well as empowering Human Resource by funding them to enable them perform highly and make better use of their natural abilities, skills and knowledge as a teamwork in the company. | en_US |
