The objectives of the study were to find out whether primary schools use motivational practices, whether motivational practices impact on academic performance and to identify strategies for motivational practices in primary schools. The study design was a descriptive survey research, where a cross section of people were involved and qualitative in nature. This facilitated the collection of the needed information.en_US
