Abstract
The purpose of this study was to establish the relationship between Learning Materials and pupils' academic performance in primary schools in Kajo-Keji County, Central Equatorial State, Southern Sudan. The specific objectives of the study were to determine the relationship between text books and pupil's performance, find out the relationship between library and pupils performance and establish the relationship between physical facilities and pupils achievements. The methods used for data collection were questionnaires and interviews. The findings revealed the unsanitary conditions led to poor performance of pupils in class especially girls. The study recommended that the government should adequately support primary schools by building infrastructure that is conducive and enough for pupils so that they can concentrate well in class. Head teachers should ensure that the schools have enough text books and a well stocked library so that pupils have enough reading material to illustrate what they are being taught. The culture of reading and using the library should be instigated in pupils and this will improve on their performance.
