dc.description.abstractThe study sought to examine staff training and project implementation in Somali Aid Foundation (SAF), Mogadishu, Somalia. The study objectives were; to investigate the staff training practices of Somali Aid Foundation (SAF), Mogadishu, Somalia, to determine the level of project implementation in Somali Aid Foundation (SAF), Mogadishu, Somalia and to establish the relationship between staff training and project implementation in Somali Aid Foundation (SAF), Mogadishu, Somalia. The study employed correlational research design to establish the relationship between staff training and project implementation in Somali Aid Foundation (SAF). The target population for this study comprised of 260 respondents and these included; 25 SAF project managers, 115 project managers, 20 Top administrators of Somali Aid Foundation (SAF) and 100 other SAF project staff members who were randomly selected in Somali Aid Foundation (SAF), Mogadishu. The sample size of the study was made of 158 respondents. The data was presented in tabular form with frequencies and percentages. The researcher used Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to analyze the relationship between the variables under study. The study found out that the level of project implementation in Somali Aid Foundation (SAF), Mogadishu was low. This further means that the management of SAF needs to put in more efforts in order to improve on the extent of project implementation after training its project staff. The study concludes that the concept by stating that training facilitate organization to recognize that its workers are not performing well and a thus their knowledge, skills and attitudes needs to be molded according to the firm needs. The study recommends that this process be made mandatory not only for new employees but also those employees who get a promotion to a higher state of a job.en_US
