Abstract
The study on the effect of non-financial reward on employee performance was carried out in
Kiryandongo District Local Government. The objectives of the study were to: to determine the
effect of involvement on staff performance in Kiryandongo District local Government, to
examine the extent to which recognition affects employee performance in Kiryandongo District
local Government and to establish how feedback affects employee performance in Kiryandongo
District Local Government. This research intended to use a descriptive research design. The
population targeted for this study was 30 respondents who included the administrators of the
various departments in the District. The researcher mainly used two kinds of research
instruments for data collection and these included oral interviews and questionnaires.
From the findings of the study, the researcher made the following recommendations
