dc.description.abstractOver the past decade, population growth and family planning slipped off the international agenda and official agenda and official development. Assistance for the family planning has declined with resources and attention being diverted to attacking HIV and AIDS family planning service delivery and contraceptive use have declined in many countries in the sub-Saharan Africa. Family planning services have been used widely to prevent unwanted pregnancies as well as affordable number of children in many countries especially the African countries. Family planning services have been advocated for by the World Health Organization (WHO). Family planning among married people in peri-urban areas is one of the challenges facing many urban and rural areas in the world. It is evident that the peri urbain married populations hold varied attitudes towards family planning services. practice of family planning service has been manifested through low turn of married population, which has increased unmanageable numbers of each children in the house hold, this could be an indication that there is ignorance and illiteracy which could be leading to low turn up for family planning services.en_US
