dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the impacts of poverty in refugees’ settlement in Kyangwali sub county Hoima district. This was made to find out how low income affects refugee settlement in Kyangwali refugee camps. More so, to assess the effects of poor health on the people of Kyangwali refugee camps. Also to analyze the effects of prostitution on refugee settlement in Kyangwali camps, as well as find out the extent to which lack of education affects refugee settlement in Kyangwali. The researcher employed both qualitative and quantitative research design but mostly qualitative design was used to determine the effects of poverty on refugees’ settlement in Kyangwali sub-county. A case study design was used reason because it provided opportunity to collect in depth information. (Amin 2005)en_US
