dc.description.abstractThe study aimed at establishing whether there is a significant relationship between capacity building and academic staff performance in the selected primary schools in central zone, Malindi District, Kenya. Purpose of the Study The major reasons for this study was to; 1. Validate the path Goal theory by House (1971), 2. Test the null hypotheses of no significant relationship between capacity building and academic staff performance. 3. Identify existing gaps and contribute to existing knowledge by filling the gaps identified. The study was carried out in 9 selected primary schools in Malindi.en_US
