| dc.description.abstract | The major objective of the study was to inquire into family relationships on domestic violence of Mukungwe Sub County in Masaka District. The study was of a case study design. One hundred respondents were chosen to participant in the study. The findings of the study indicate the causes of violence amongst family relationships especially on women range from social economic and environmental factors. Research implied that a lot of women are abused by former or ex-lovers. Women suffer a wide range of violence such as sexual harassment, physical and psychological effects that lead to total misery of life. The maJor recommendation to curbing down aggression that boosts violence was the government, NGOs, Local community as well as women in particular to keep a sharp eye and strict laws to be enforced on the abusers or victims.
