dc.description.abstractllcalth system pharmacies, like other health care professional, practice under a number of mandated standards. Basic concepts of quality assurance (QA) standards should be applied to hospital pharmacy practice. The survey reported here is to assess QA system implementation and its standard indicators observation in Bushenyi District Health facilities pharmacies and medical stores. Pharmaceutical quality is affected by starting materials, manufacturing process, packaging, transpor1ation and storage conditions. Maintaining proper storage conditions for health commodities is vital to ensuring their quality. Product expiration dates are based on ideal storage conditions and protecting product quality until their expiration date is important for serving customers and conserving resources.en_US
