Abstract
The purpose of the study was to investigate on salary, supervision, promotion and motivation employee in Kisinga Sub County-Kasese District. The study was guided by three specific objectives; to establish how promotion opportunities were availed member of staff in Kisinga Sub County, to evaluate how effective is supervision us in Kisinga Sub County, to find out how salary affects employee in Kisinga Sub County. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design and it was carried out in Kisinga Sub County-Kasese District. The sample size of the study was 20 employee from the management. Data collected was analyzed through statistical packages for the social science (SPSS). Data was collected using self- administered questionnaires and observation to the matched samples of the employee. The study revealed that majority of the employee believes that highly paying salaries, good supervision and promotion among the employee are highest motivational factors and plays roles in public services performances as evidences on number of strike action when government failed to honor that above issues but employee are dissatisfied are not motivated in both financial and non-financial aspects. Employees are dissatisfied with low salaries, poor supervision and lack of promotion. The study recommends that local governments should improves on salary to the employee, ensures fair promotion based on merits, improved on supervision of the Sub County activities
