Abstract
This study also was set to determine the relationship between staff development programs and employee performance in Pride Micro-Finance in Kampala District. The three specific objectives the study based on were: (I) to establish the relationship between training and job performance in Pride Micro-Finance Uganda, to examine the extent to which promotions influence job performance of employees in microfinance Uganda, to examine the extent to which employee rewards influence job performance in Pride Micro-Finance Uganda. It was based on descriptive correlation survey design. Self-Administered Questionnaires were used to collect primary data from 175 out of 310 respondents, using simple random sampling. Data analysis was done using SPSS’s frequencies and percentages; means; and Pearson’s Linear Con-elation Coefficient
