dc.description.abstractThe study traced the impact of motivational practices on teachers’ performance in public secondary schools in Kiboga district from 2008 to 2018. The research was conducted in two public secondary schools in Kiboga district, central Uganda. The population included; head teachers, Director of studies and teachers from sampled schools. The study specifically investigated the extent to which motivational practices are being implemented, ascertain the state of teachers’ performance and to establish the relationship between motivational practices and teachers performance in public secondary schools in Kiboga district. Giving insight to Ministry of Education and Sports, Education policy makers on the motivational practices used that offer a competitive advantage in secondary schools. The report will enrich the Ministry of Education with adequate and useful literature for future reference, Motivating the staff by reducing on the negative attitudes teachers have towards performance at the workplace. It form a basis for further research on motivation and teachers~ performanceen_US
