Abstract
This research report has been made to practice my exposure as finance and accounting student at Mbale municipality, Mbale district. The practice work assigned to me by the clerk had relevant knowledge to me as a practicing accountant required interaction consultations and advisory with clients, agency supervisors, and the community members. As I was conducting my practical exposure, I faced several challenges such as high transport costs to the office and in the fields, high illiteracy expectations among the community members in the fields, use of outdated computers which did not effort proper printing, among others which gave me tasks to assess my competence in finance and accounting in order to acquires the skills and experience
