Impacts such as long periods of drought, unnecessary floods, loss of crops , reduced availability of staple foods , erosion of land resources, reduced food consumption, and access to clean and enough water, have been experienced in different societies leading to socio-economic melt down of the community that solely depends on agriculture to sustain their livelihoods (UNEP 2014). The pastoralists in Kathile Sub County Kaabong District have been known to wander around in search of pasture and water to nourish their cattle. Most of the residents attributed this to changing climate which has resulted in reduced precipitation in this region for sometimes now. Qn this note, this study assesses the implications for climate change and also proposes the adaptation strategies to be engaged in Kathile Sub County, Kaabong District North Eastern Uganda against the impacts of climate change.
